How Much Does a Day of Activities in Rovaniemi Cost? Three Sample Days with Real Tour Prices
Updated October 17, 2026 · 5 min read
Plan on roughly €100 per person for a light day, €150 to €190 for a full one, and more if you want to drive huskies yourself. The cheapest sensible pairing is the Snowman World ticket at €37 plus an evening northern lights hunt at €59.95. The prices below are tour prices per person; meals, accommodation and flights are not included in them.
Five building blocks
| Offer | Time | From | Rating | Good for |

| Snowman World entry ticket | No duration listed | €37 | 4.2 (1,147) | A cheap, flexible hour or two in Santa Claus Village |
| Santa Claus Village husky ride | 30 minutes | €63 | 4.7 (1,587) | A first sled ride, 2.5 km |
| Reindeer, huskies and Santa Claus Village | 6 hours | €188 | 4.6 (2,417) | Animals and Santa in one booking |
| Arctic safari on new snowmobiles | 3 hours | €119 | 4.7 (2,288) | The big-ticket daytime activity |
| Aurora hunt with free photos | 6 - 8 hours | €59.95 | 4.8 (1,342) | The evening, with a refund if no aurora is captured |
Three sample days, per person
- Light day: €97. Snowman World in the afternoon and the aurora hunt at night. The hunt runs six to eight hours, so this is a late evening.
- Animal day: €150 or €188. A husky ride (€63) and the stand-alone reindeer trip with a sleigh ride (€87) cost €150 together. The six-hour combined tour costs €188 and adds the visit to Santa, so you pay €38 more for the visit to Santa and one booking instead of two.
- Engine day: €179. The snowmobile safari in the morning, the aurora hunt at night. Add the husky ride and you are at €242.
A family of four on the light day pays €388 before anything else. Children’s prices can differ, so read the age and price lines on the booking page instead of multiplying blindly; our guide to Rovaniemi with children shows which of these they manage.
The Snowman World ticket
It is the cheapest paid entry in the table, and the listing describes snow activities for the whole family; it gives no duration, so the time slot you choose decides. Its 4.2 is the lowest rating in the list, which is a reason to treat it as a filler rather than the centrepiece.
The husky ride against the six-hour day
The ride covers 2.5 km in 30 minutes, followed by hot juice and cookies in a yurt. At €63, it is the cheapest animal activity in this table. Choose the six-hour combined tour to get husky, reindeer and Santa without arranging separate trips, not to save money. For longer drives, our husky guide compares self-drive offers that cost around €200 and more.

What the prices leave out
Winter clothing is the item that surprises people: a rental set costs €46 per person, and several tours name overalls instead (see what to wear). A private airport van costs €120 per group of up to eight, and the airport guide compares it with the bus and a taxi. We do not list restaurant prices because we have no reliable figures for them.
What we would book
For most people on a budget: the aurora hunt plus one daytime activity. For the best use of a single day outdoors: the snowmobile safari, because it is the only one here that is a full activity on its own. Everything else is on the things to do page.
